Cloudpup Creations is a beginner fursuit maker based in Finland. I create handmade costumes and art to fit your needs! Each fursuit is made with pure love and passion for the craft.

ABOUT MY FURSUITS

My bases are hand carved from foam and I use high quality faux fur. I like working with soft parts but I'm open to create certain parts with 3D printing, for example teeth, claws and horns. My fursuit eyes are 3d printed and hand painted. Heads and handpaws are always fully lined except for the neck. Feetpaws are lined and made with a sockpaw style. For handpaws and handclaws I use Kloofsuits and Stuffed Tail Fursuits patterns. For feetpaws I use Spilt Grape Soda patterns.

CARE GUIDE

AFTER EVERY USE:

Brush your fursuit parts after every wear. This will prevent the fur from matting. I also recommend disinfecting your fursuit after every wear with a fursuit spray. You can buy one online or make one yourself by mixing alcohol/disinfectant with water. Spray your fursuit parts with the fursuit spray and brush the fur after spraying. Avoid getting the spray on the fursuit's eyes as the alcohol might smudge the paint. You can cover the eyes with paper towels to avoid getting them wet. Always remember to spray the inside of the head, handpaws and feetpaws to avoid bad odor from forming. I recommend using a balaclava while wearing your fursuit to protect it from sweat. With feetpaws I always recommend using fursuit sandals to keep the bottoms from wearing out and getting dirty.

WASHING

For washing the head I recommend a tutorial by Skyehigh Studios found from Youtube.
Never submerge the head fully in water! Never use hot water for washing your fursuit parts, always use lukewarm or cold water. Avoid getting the eyes wet by covering them with towels.
Wipe the fursuit down with a wet cloth with mild detergent in it. After that rinse the soap away with a separate wet towel until all the detergent has washed away. Carefully dry most of the water out with a dry towel and let the fursuit air dry. This might take a few days depending on how wet the head is. I recommend using a fan to speed up the drying process. Make sure to wash the inside of the head as well and keep the head in a drying position that lets air flow inside it. NEVER store away a wet fursuit or it will mold.

You can wash your handpaws, feetpaws and tail by hand or in a washing machine (unstuff the feetpaws and tail first). Feetpaws might be tricky to stuff back up after washing so I recommend washing them by hand. Don't machine wash your parts if they have 3D printed or other hard parts.
Most tails will come with a zipper to get the stuffing out for washing. A zipper can be added to feetpaws as well. Take the stuffing out and turn the tail inside out if possible. To protect the fur from getting pulled by the machine, put the parts in a laundry bag (a pillow case/duvet cover works as well.) ALWAYS use gentle and low spin cycle and cold or up to 30C water. Do not tumble dry! Gently brush the parts after washing and hang them up to air dry in front of a fan. Brush out the fur every now and then while the parts are drying.

STORAGE

Always make sure your fursuit has fully dried before storing it away! Store your fursuit in a cool place away from direct sunlight. Avoid folding your fursuit parts as that can leave the fur wrinkled.

TERMS OF SERVICE

General information

• I can refuse a commission for any reason I want.• You have to be 18+ to commission a fursuit from me. If a minor wishes to commission me the purchase and communication is done through a parent. I may ask for proof of identity and age.• If a minor gets caught lying about their age the commission will be refunded and the person will be blacklisted. If the commission has been started it will be modified and sold off.• I will need some personal information such as your name and adress. Personal information will only be used for shipping purposes.• My fursuits are handmade so they might not be 100% perfect. Altough I will always strive for as high of a cuality as I can, there might be imperfections with shaving, symmetry etc.• I will not copy other maker's styles.• I have the right to post pictures of the fursuits I make. I will post wips to my social media.• I can cancel the commission if the client becomes agressive, harassing etc.• Cloudpup Creations does not condone any acts of homophobia, transphobia, racism, zoophilia, pedophilia and violation of human rights. If it turns out that a commissioner shares these values I hold the right to cancel or refuse the commission immediately and blacklist the buyer.

Payment

• !!!BEFORE COMMISSIONING BE SURE THAT YOU'RE FINANCIALLY ABLE TO BUY A FURSUIT!!!• All the prices listed are in EUROS (€) and thus all the payments must be made in euros!• Payments will be done via PayPal or Finnish bank tranfer.• The prices shown in my pricing base are base prices. Things like fur and minky colors and complexity of the character will make the price go up.• You need to DM me to get a spesific quote.• I require a 30% down payment before I start the commission. This 30% is ALWAYS NON-REFUNDABLE. The down payment must be paid in a week from me accepting your commission.• Payment plans can be discussed.
The commission must be paid in full before I send it.• If the customer goes without contact/payment for over a month the commission will be considered as abandoned.• Shipping prices and customs are not included in the price of the fursuit.• The commissioner will pay for shipping and possible customs.• Do not send payments without discussing with me first.

Concept art

• I require a clear, digital, unshaded refsheet of your character.• The refsheet should include at least a front and back view of your character as well as color palette.• I don't accept stolen/copied characters.• I don't accept designs or refsheets/"art" made by AI.• As the colors of faux fur can be quite limited, I can't guarantee an exact color match.• Don't make changes to the character design after the down payment has been paid.

Commission process, COMMUNICATION AND UPDATES

• I don't work with strict deadlines. If you want the fursuit done for a specific event, please inform me beforehand. I can't promise completion to an exact date but I will try my best.• Right now I don't have set turn around times. However I aim to complete the commission in 4 months from beginning the commission.• Communication will be preferably through Telegram or Discord. Other ways of communication are possible.• I will provide you with lots of wips especially when there's significant progress.• If you want something changed please inform me immediately. Asking for bigger changes near the completion of the commission might not be possible or will add extra to the final price.• If you want to keep your suit progress a secret and don't want me posting wips please inform me beforehand.• Do not ask for wips every day or pressure me to work faster. I will send you updates whenever I work on your suit. Pressuring me to work faster might lead to the cancellation the commissions.

Shipping

• Cloudpup Creations is located in Finland, please take that into consideration before commissioning.• The price of shipping will be added when the commission is completed. The commissioner will pay for shipping.• If there are customs included, the commissioner will pay for them.• I ship internationally, however there are certain countries I won't ship to right now. Ask me for more information if you're concerned whether I can ship to your country or not.• I'm not responsible for any damage that might occur in the mail. In that case, please be in contact to the mail service.• Local pick ups or pick ups from events are possible.

Refunds and returns

• The 30% down payment is always non-refundable.• If the commission is cancelled the amount of refunds depends on how far I am with the commission.• Refunds are not possible after you've accepted and received your fursuit.• Never ask for refund from PayPal or you will be blacklisted. Instead contact me and we'll sort things out together.• I don't accept returns on fursuits or fursuit parts.• You can sell your fursuit and I will gladly help you advertise. However it is polite to not ask more than the fursuit originally cost.

Warranty

• All of my fursuits have a 60 day warranty which covers faults in my craftmanships. During that period I will make fixings for free. The commissioner will pay for shipping both ways.• The warranty DOES NOT cover normal wear and tear (estimated by the maker), the fursuit getting dirty, fitting issues due to incorrect measurements sent by the customer, damage caused by the post services or misuse by the commissioner.• Modifying the fursuit in any way will make the warranty invalid.• The suit must be cleaned up before sending it to repairs.• If the fursuit has been used in NSFW activities the warranty will become invalid due to hygiene concerns.• After the warranty ends the customer can still send me their fursuit for fixing for a fee.

Using fursuits

• You will get hot in a fursuit. Remember to drink water and take breaks to avoid overheating.• Your vision and hearing is limited in a fursuit. Keep aware of your surroundings.• Magnets can interfere with the function of pacemakers and other medical devices. Please keep this in mind if your fursuit includes magnetic parts and keep the magnetic parts out of contact with any medical or electronic devices and metal objects.• Cloudpup Creations is not liable in case of injuries or bodily harm while wearing a fursuit.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Can you make me a fursuit for free/cheaper?

No.

Do you offer artistic liberty fursuits?

Yes! For artistic liberty fursuits I require species, color preferences and if the caharcter presents as masculine or feminine.

How long does it take to finish a commission?

As of right now I can't offer spesific turnaround times. The completion time depends on the type of your commission: heads and full partials naturally take longer to complete than just a tail or handpaws. I aim to complete heads and partials within 4 months of starting the commission but it might take longer depending on the complexity of the commission and my life status.

I don't have a refsheet/I can't draw. Can you make a fursuit from my description?

I require a clear, digital refsheet of all the characters I'm making. There are plenty of free bases to color on the internet or you can commission an artist to make you one!

Are there species you won't make?

Yes. I won't make copyrighted characters. Closed species can be discussed if there is an official masterlist of the species and you rightfully own the character.

Do you accept refsheets/design made by AI?

Never.

I'm 10 years old. Can I commission a fursuit from you?

Yes, but you will need a permission from your parent/guradian. All the communication with anyone under the age of 18 will be through a parent and the parent will make the payments. However, I don't recommend you to order a fursuit if you're still growing since you might outgrow it.

Can I send you supplies to make my fursuit out of?

In most cases, no.

Can you add fans/other electronics in my fursuit?

I can't add fans or electronics, but I can add a patch of velcro to the roof of the mouth where a fan can be added.

Can you do moving jaws?

Unfortunately not.

Can you fit glasses in a head?

Unfortunately I can't make my heads fit glasses as of now. In general I don't recommend wearing glasses when fursuiting.

Do you have smoke/pet hair come in contact with fursuits/supplies?

I work in a smokeless environment. I have a pet gecko in the workspace but he's hypoallergenic :)

Hi there! I'm Luge, a beginner fursuit maker born in 2001 from Tampere, Finland!I'm a self taught fursuit maker who fell in love with the craft in 2023 when a friend of mine peer pressured me to make myself a fursuit. Fun fact, I used to HATE sewing for the most of my life but creating Lumo, my first fursuit, really got me hooked on the craft. Lumo was supposed to be my only fursuit but oh well, you can see how that turned out! I'm still very much a beginner when it comes to making fursuits but I'm constantly learning and trying new things and techniques to make my fursuits as high quality as I possibly can!My other hobbies besides making fursuits include drawing, music, playing video games and photography. I'm also a full time film/tv student and a huge reptile nerd.
